Delete your VahanTax account

You can delete your VahanTax account at any time, from the app or by asking us. Here's how, and what is deleted and kept.

Delete from the app (fastest)

Open the VahanTax app on your phone:

Go to Profile.
Tap Delete account at the bottom.
Confirm. Your account is scheduled for deletion right away.

You have 30 days to change your mind: sign in again during that time to cancel the deletion.

What is deleted after 30 days

Your profile: your name, mobile number, email address and profile photo.
Saved RC numbers and vehicle details stored for suggestions in the app.
RC photos you uploaded.
In-app notifications, support tickets and messages.
Any remaining wallet balance (it cannot be refunded or restored once deleted).
Your sign-in record: you will be signed out on all devices.

What we have to keep

Tax, accounting and corporate laws require us to keep records of passes, requests, payments and refunds. These are kept securely for the period the law requires, but are unlinked from your active account and never used for marketing.

Can't use the app?

Email us from the Google account you signed in with, with your registered mobile number. We delete the account within 30 days and confirm by email.
